LCN TOENAIL RECONSTRUCTION

LCN Toenail Reconstruction – Restore Confidence in Your Feet

Damaged or missing toenails can feel uncomfortable and embarrassing, making you want to hide your feet away. Whether from injury, infection, or ageing, these problems affect confidence in everyday life — from wearing sandals to walking barefoot.

At Novum, we specialise in LCN Toenail Reconstruction, a cosmetic treatment that restores the look of natural, healthy nails.

What is LCN Toenail Reconstruction?

LCN (Light Concept Nails) is a medical-grade resin system, enriched with antifungal silver, designed specifically for problem nails. Unlike acrylics, it’s flexible, breathable, and moves naturally with your nail and skin. The result? A thin, durable, and natural-looking nail that feels comfortable and can be left bare or polished.

  • Personalised care – Every reconstruction is tailored to your individual nail condition and lifestyle.

  • Safe & hygienic – We follow strict salon hygiene protocols, using only professional-grade products.

Who is it for?

LCN reconstruction is ideal if you have:

  • Broken, cracked, or partially missing nails

  • Misshapen nails from trauma or injury

  • Nails weakened after fungal infection (once treated)

  • Naturally thin, brittle, or ageing nails

Important: If you suspect an active fungal infection, please consult your doctor before booking.

LCN Toenail Reconstruction Aftercare Advice

To keep your reconstructed nail looking its best and lasting as long as possible, please follow these aftercare tips:

Do’s

  • Keep your nails clean and dry – wash feet regularly and dry thoroughly, especially between the toes.

  • Moisturise daily – apply a nourishing foot cream or cuticle oil to keep skin and nails hydrated.

  • Wear protective footwear – choose comfortable shoes with enough room in the toe area to avoid pressure or friction.

  • Book regular maintenance – your reconstructed nail may need refilling or replacing every 6–10 weeks depending on growth.

Don’ts

  • Don’t pick or pull at the reconstructed nail – this may damage the natural nail underneath.

  • Avoid soaking for long periods (e.g. hot baths, saunas, swimming pools) in the first 24–48 hours after treatment, as this can weaken adhesion.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals – such as nail polish remover containing acetone, which may affect the LCN gel.

  • Don’t attempt home removal – always return to the salon for safe removal or maintenance.

Important Notes

  • If you notice lifting, discomfort, or signs of infection, contact us immediately for advice.

  • Remember, this is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical cure. If you experience persistent pain, swelling, or fungal issues, please consult your GP or podiatrist.

  • For best results, combine with regular professional pedicures to maintain overall foot and nail health.
